New Table Saw – (Extension, Guide Fence, Zero Clearance Insert, Mitre Fence)

I finally realised it was time to get a new table saw, and decided after careful consideration to get the Axminster TS200. It’s not great, and has a few annoying features such as the blade travelling as it is being tilted but it showed good signs of adaptability and is much better than what I was using before. In this video I outline what I’ve done to extended the working surface area, guide fence modifications as well as making a zero clearance insert and reducing the wobble in the mitre by adding aluminium insulation tape.

  1. Hello there nice video, I just wanted to know did the insert plate help with dust extraction as my saw I’m sure aims for me rather than the extraction port.
    Keep up the good videos.
