I finally realised it was time to get a new table saw, and decided after careful consideration to get the Axminster TS200. It’s not great, and has a few annoying features such as the blade travelling as it is being tilted but it showed good signs of adaptability and is much better than what I was using before. In this video I outline what I’ve done to extended the working surface area, guide fence modifications as well as making a zero clearance insert and reducing the wobble in the mitre by adding aluminium insulation tape.
Hello there nice video, I just wanted to know did the insert plate help with dust extraction as my saw I’m sure aims for me rather than the extraction port.
Keep up the good videos.
Simon
Cheers Simon. Not really but it helps with splintering.
