In this video I attach square sharpening file stones to handles I cut out from birch ply with curved ends and tapering slopes.  I use the table saw to cut shallow grooves to hold the stones, while gluing with contact adhesive.   These can be used to sharpen scissors, axes and other similar hand tools.
