It doesn't look too bad from the front tbh, but the back is more of a dogs dinner. It recently occured to me that I practise some kind of unwitting meditation while commuting on public transport. I try to work on an art endeavour, especially on the way in. Sometimes I'd even try do the suduko, if only to check if my brain was working and predict the kind of day I might have. The journey back is very different. It's a decompression and where I ignore all the things that should otherwise annoy. I wonder if its something haptic... the way the carpeted moquette seat feel under my denim clad arse that prompts a sense of mindlessness. Would I be able to replicate this feeling of time passing if I upholster the uncomfortable chair I edit videos on with a picadilly line moquette. Can you guess what these workshop jigs are used for before swiping across? Made from 40mm beech dowels and 22mm valchromat. Was fun to make, and they work well, and allow for a flexible set up.
