Description

This listing includes parts for making a lower cost 3d printed mirror stereoscope. The device can be used as part of an semi-advanced 3d printing and assembly project. Once assembled it can be used for viewing stereoscopic images to create a 3D effect, and some scientific experiments. Print time for all the parts totals roughly 41 hours. All mechanical fixings (or vitamins) are purchasable via Ebay – I do not recommend any supplier in this case, but searching should reveal local suppliers for your area. The design has a fine adjustment mechanism for orienting the mirrors which was important for conducting scientific experiments,  and made for an interesting design challenge.

Downloadable files include:

  • 3D printable STL files
  • Build plate printing orientations
  • Diagrams as PDF
  • Images
  • Parts list as PDF

Some files will need to be unzipped before accessing. Please refer to the video for build process. I haven’t explicitly listed the assembly order but it is deducible from the diagrams and video.
